My wife is taking the kids out for a little spring break vacation, so I'm going to be all by my lonesome.

Please save me from the horrible fate which awaits me this weekend:
1) Pruning Crepe Myrtles
2) Mowing the yard.
3) Doing laundry.
4) Cleaning already clean guns.
5) Other assorted tales of domestic terror.

Wanna go make 'em dirty before you clean them again?

The Fun show is not this weekend - it's next weekend. I need to buy some flip-up sights for the carbine.... just in case the EOTech goes TU.

I get to do all of that PLUS plant two 25 gallon Red Maple trees. That's the price ya gotta pay for going to the Hun Farm two weekends in a row.

Sure...there's the rodeo, something on 6th street, SXSW movie festival, etc., etc., etc.

I find myself busier here than in CA by far, i dunno what you're doing wrong.

Wait. you're married. N/m.

You could attend a Texas Tactical Carbine match, and then a lowlight match tomorrow at Hays County Sportsman's Park. It's where all the cool kids will be!

Talk to the hand bitch!

I ran this through the grammar and spelling checker in Office XP, and I still don't see it. Oh wait - look who's critiquing me...

I washed the truck.
Detailed it.
Cleaned the garage.
Trimmed up our big-ass Crepe Myrtles with a chainsaw.
Spread 10 bags of mulch.
Filed 6 months worth of paperwork.
Mixed up some "Ed's Red"
Ate twice at Taco Bell.
Cleaned the kitchen.
Watched some TV.
Got through half of "Raid on Rommel" to translate all the German for DoubleFeed.

That 'bout sums it up. Thanks for nothing, Centex crew!

[Edited to add] Oh look! I almost have 1/10th of the number of posts as DoubleFeed. Another 20 years, and I'll be there too!

Good luck with that.

Oh, what was that you wanted on your grave stone? "Here lies Zhukov, dead and buried. Left his manhood and then got married."?

If I don't whine several times a day my head might explode. It's not good to keep that bottled up inside, ya know? Remember - it's the quiet guys that you have to worry about.
