  Need to get a couple of unopened cases of MREs.  
I would prefer "real" MREs (www.mreinfo.com/mres.html) instead instead of the "aftermarket" ones.

I thought I would check here before hitting eBay.

The surplus store in NKC had some about a month ago, I'm sure they usually have them.  Dunno prices I wanna say 6 or 7 bucks a meal.  My sister bought some and gave them the thumbs up... nutty girl.

FWIW, "real" military MRE's _should_ be unavailable on the civilian market as Federal law makes it illegal to sell to the public the exact same thign you sell to the gubmintThey key word there being "exact".  Those MRE's on the page you linked-to are NOT exact GI MRE's, but they're pretty close.

If you do find any "real" military MRE's they likely won't be as fresh as possible because some grunt brought them back from his weekend/deployment and then sold them to the surplus shop.

Ready Meals offer a pretty decent product.
