Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone know where I can buy threaded 1911 barrel

My tax stamp came in 6 months earlier than expected and now I find myself with a suppressor but no way to connect it to a host. Anyone know where I can find a non ramped threaded barrel for a Government sized 1911 preferably a Storm Lake barrel? Midway is out as are every online retailer.  Brownells has one made by Remington but I could not find any reviews of it while there are a lot for Storm Lakes.  Thanks for the info.

If I am not mistaken Storm Lake made the barrels for AAC/Remington

Trading Places in Monroe had some threaded barrels on the shelves...not sure if they were 1911, Glock or whose...

Stormlakes are supposed to be drop ins if you get the drop in version....but ya.  You still might need to fit the following:

Upper Lug Engagement
Barrel Bushing.

If it comes with the linkage on the lower lugs you shouldn't have to fit those at all.  But ya never know there.

This dropped right into one of my RIAs and runs great.  I did use the bushing for the gun rather than the bushing that came with it.
