When you buy a can online do you have pay an ATF Tax to transfer it to a local dealer? Or just the $200 when you transfer it on your form 4 to yourself or trust?

But once it gets to the local dealer you have to pay them for doing the transfer paperwork. Pretty much the same thing as buying any firearm online and paying the FFL. Dealers charge a Class 3 transfer fee though which is usually more because there is a little more they have to do, and they have to sit on your item for a while. Then you have to pay for the stamp. |
