Barrel is suspect. My money says the barrel is off center. Either humped from a squibb load or machined that way when turned on lathe. One of the best 1911 smiths in Missouri is a friend. Names Jason Perkins, Mexico, Mo.

I've known Bob for years.  We use to always be next to each other at the gun shows back when they were on Front st.  He does great work on 1911's.  He built my 45 race gun.
