Hey I'm in Milledgeville and I am out towards Macon almost everyday. Unfortuanately, I dont get out of school Wednesday until about 3:30 (Macon State).

Wednesday = work.
I would like to get a membership at Marion Road Gun Club since Eagle Gun Range restricts some items that I'd like to take to the range. What is the range like? Big enough that you don't have to wait turns to shoot? |

There are 3 ranges at the Marion Rd. Gun Club, a 50 yard Pistol/Shotgun range (12 stalls approx.), 100 yard rifle range (12 stalls approx.), and 200 yard rifle range (about 4 stalls). You have to bring your own targets, cardboard backing, and clothespin to attach to wires hung down range, but there are spare wire and clothespin available if needed. My shooting party is going to happen around 6:00 or later since my father gets off work at that time, so email me at [email protected] if you are interested in a little schutzenfest

Have guns. Will travel. My gf wants to go shooting too. What's the membership fee for a couple? Live in Milledgeville, work in Macon.

Y'all might want to look at the Ocmulgee DNR range thread. It is within 30-40 minutes of Macon and we are trying to get people there from all over the state.

I believe the membership is $60 for a year, but if you join now they'll only charge you for the remaining months. There's also a family membership good up to 5 ppl, but I'm not sure about the price. Try calling them at 478-743-8734 Mon-Thurs from 9AM to 3PM and you'll have to go to downtown Macon to sign and pay.

Damn. Found a range about 6 miles from Milledgeville and paid for membership. It's the Old Capitol Gun Club, off of Hwy 112. Will be shooting there mid-August after I get back from Vegas with my new wife.
