I recall reading somewhere that yea/nay letters would be mailed in December. I wish I could find that statement. I just checked the KS AG web site and couln't find it there.

Anyone else read this anywhere, or is it another manifestation of CRS syndrome?

I just received this email from a KS CCH instructor in an email today, posted with his permission:

I got word from the AG's office today and 2,991 letters were mailed via postal mail yesterday.  These were all for people who applied before 10/31/06 and their applications were in their office with enough time before that date to complete processing.  As of today they have a total of 4,880 applications.  They expect the next batch of letters to go out the second week of January.  They also intend to continue to mail letters in weekly batches after that.   I will keep you informed as I get updates.  Thanks!

A friend of mine got his letter on the 28th.  I think he put in his paperwork AFTER 10/31 though, but, I'm not 100% on that.    He put in his paperwork back in September.  He's going tomorrow to the DMV to get teh permit started.
