Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Anyone ever fish at Palarm Creek park?

Talking about the one close to the liquor store. Looks like it would be a good spot right where it and the river join. Also looks like you can run into some shady people. Anyway, is it good fishing? What are the laws on having a gun there?

I have fished there.  I have also kayaked all the way from the mouth at Palarm Park up to I-40 near Mayflower.  I have never seen any reason to take a gun unless you want to shoot at the fish.  The fishing is ok, but I really enjoy paddling up Palarm Creek.

The place just looks like a drug hole to me. I figured the fishing would be great standing and casting right where the river and creek meet.
