A very good budy of mine is a member. I've been down there a time or two.
Beautifull range. 600 yards with 10' cement abuttments (I think that's what you would call them) with pop up targets. There's also covered shooting positions (if I remember correctly) and a small 100 yard range. Very peacefull and quiet. Gavin |

Gavin, or anyone else,
Could you possibly get me some contact info for the clubhouse/club officer or something? I am interesting in checking it out and have heard good things, but I can't find a phone number anywhere. I think I am about an hour away, so I don't want to drive out there blind. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Scott |

Sorry guys, I'm still trying to get the info. My buddy said he actually had to go down during a match and talk to some members. Apperently, according to him the guy in charge of membership is a hermit and doesn't give out a phone number. He also doesn't have an email address. Every thing is done by snail mail. I'll post here when I get the address.

The Pres is Lawrence Neckerman from Boonville. Dues are $35 a year. When payment is recieved you will get back a set of rules and the combo to the gate lock. He is hard to get ahold of by phone. Make money orders payable to Bucksnort Gun Club.

Yeah, What he asked, also how do you get onto the range that being the case, Pioneer gives you a key. is the Range manned or ??? |

From what I understand, you get the gatecode, and it is unmanned. |

You pay, you get the gate code, it is un manned. The rules will tell you the ROE.
There is a red paddle when you drive in. If it is up, there is someone downrange. DO NOT SHOOT WHEN THERE IS SOMEONE DOWN RANGE! There is a shed with targets. You are asked to put them back when you are done shooting. They have organized shoots several times a year. Target shooting is closed during these competitions. |
