Any walking / 'hiking' trails around the Grapevine area open (not flooded)?

don't believe so.  Murrell park is closed and that is how most people go to the hike/bike trails.  twin coves marina is also entered through Murrell park and I can't get to my boat!!!  I have to go to a marina on the other side of the lake and get a ride to Twin Coves so I can use my boat.

Ya I was afraid of that. I know Bob Jones has SOME trails open but I don't know if those are worth the drive.

And at least you can get on the water there!

If you can pick up your boat and walk with it, you can launch at any given lake. If your trailer has a low water launch option, you could be in biness. Launching at a closed ramp is risky. Hate to leave a wheel and tire, hub, be.....at a closed boat ramp.

Well, my boat is about 10,000 lbs so no picking it up.  It stays in the water year round.  Which does make it easier to use it when the roads are not under water!!!!

Don't bother going to Horseshoe trail.  It will not likely reopen until next summer.

Thanks gents.

Just for some future reference Bob Jones did have some of the horse / hiking trails opened which served their exercise purpose for me.
