Fair enough, thanks for the advice.

Does anyone want 50 stripper clips?

I've used a plastic Thermold AR mag loader for years, which is a much better design, without drawing blood. Maybe I'm not using it properly...

TBH, it was just an idle thought as the rounds are already fitted into the clips. Any idea where I might get a Brit Army plastic loady thing?

Just Google Thermold mag loader.

Does it work with the metal mil surp clips, or do you have to use the proprietary ones?

This works with any stripper clips, loose rounds etc..

Remember to empty out the stripper clips once in a while from the Thermold thing. Otherwise you will draw blood.

Yup, I've not found one it doesn't work with yet. However this doesn't work with the RUAG clips as they're not entirely straight

Cheers guys, for the sake of a couple of quid I might just give one a go.

Yep, slide the stripper clips in the top and simply push them into the mag
It's what I use with mine
