Get Some Ammo & Guns - 7th West just south of 7200
Stocks AR's, AK's, FAL's, etc. Prices are OK - not great. They will deal on some things and trades.

If you pass through Orem(you will if you are going up I15), then check out Van Wagenen's.

Gallensons on 200 south  and 200 east downtown is pretty good...  Dougs Shoot-n-Sports on Redwood road (about 4500 south IIRC..help fellas?)

I bought my AR from Diane at Tight Group... wonderful lady to deal with. Also on Redwood Road, about 7500 south.

Doug's Shoot 'n sports in Taylorsville is usually pretty competitive also, but they always treat me like some punk kid even when I have $1000 cash in my pocket ready to buy.

I'm done with Doug's for the same reason you stated.

They only give you deals if they like you. The only sales guy I would buy from quit back in March or April. Yeah they have a good selection and reletively competetive prices but  they have terrible customer service.

I've been to Rangemasters, classy setup, a little on the sparce side, inventory wise.

How slow do you drive?  I could get to Lindon on a MOPED in less than 45 minutes from SLC, unless of course it's during rush hour.

For leadfoots like me (or is that leadfeet?) cut the above times in half.
