He did some calypso albums a while back. Surprisingly fun little ditties. I just watched/listened to one on Youtube.

Mitchum, one of the best. Be it western, war or drama.



Mitchum and Gregory Peck did the original Cape Fear.



The later remake was Deniro and Nolte.



Many years ago I used to say when Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne and Robert Mitchum are gone the country will be gone also.

He was the star and writer of Thunder Road. He also sang the theme song. The skanky brunette was his real GF at the time. His oldest son, Jim, played Robin Doolin in it. His brother, John was quite the character actor in a lot of movies, like Dirty Harry.
