My best friend, Kimo, lives on the Big Island and wants to become an FFL/SOT.  Any special requirement in HI?  Any guys FFL/SOTs that can give him some advice?

I'm a dealer myslelf and can walk him throught th application process- just want to give him some state-specific advice.

Thanks in advance,

Steve

No FFL in a residential zone, therefor he has to have a property zoned commercial, cant use his house.  Thats all I know.

Industrial Zones, basiclly Nothing FFL from a Residental Neighborhood.

Hawaii is a Non NFA State, with the (loophole) of AOW & DD. Can't have MG, SBR, Suppressors or Assualt Pistols. LEO Dept usaully gets NFA thru other sources. No blessing "Demo Letters" issued.
