...that do a decent bobtail job?  I'm thinking of having some work done, one part of which would be a bob-job......and i'm hoping to be able to save some money on shipping this thing to various spots, if possible.  Thanks!

http://www.superiorfirearmsllc.com/     He isn't cheap, but I had him restore a 30 year old chiefs special that was pitted badly. I am pretty sure he does 1911 work as well.

This guy told me that a bob-job couldn't be done on a Phillipine or Cast gun.  This thread begs to differ:
