In reading the match procedures on the MODCC sight it is clear that "Clear and make safe" at the end of the run is on-the-clock. Given the recent safety discussion does anyone else think it would be a good idea to make that an off-the-clock activity like it is in the USPSA matches? I don't know about anyone else but I'd rather do it slowly and make sure the weapon(s) is/are clear. Why rush when its a safety thing? This is JUST my 2 cents so feel free to flame away.

I am gonna bring my PACT timer as well if we want to use it. It has an audible start tone and measures time to each shot. It is of the type usually used in IPSC/USPSA and I think the other practical shoots as well.

See you guys there......

Very good point, I concur with your suggestion.

I think Hkocher came to the same conclusion in another thread...

Time stops when shooter yells clear, then he unloads mag, and ejects any round in chamber...

Bring anything you want to the shoot, and it'll be good to see you there...

Jeff,

Thanks for pointing that out. Actually that's the way we have been running the matches, I just forgot to update the webpage.

Hope to see you at the next shoot.
