Another ironworker died on the job this morning. I'm ahead of the curve, so no link yet. No work for the rest of the week, I'm guessing.

I have to wonder if the times have people distracted or something. The BNSF has had a terrible spate of fatalities of late, too.

Thanks CavVet. My computer crashed right after I posted yesterday.

Yah, thats the one. Non work related except for it happened at work. So if a guy at work has a heart attack that he would have otherwise recovered from, but it caused him to fall to his death, it's non work related?
Rumors always fly around the job immediatley after an incident like this, so I was hesitant to say what happened to him. Although every account had a head injury involved. We'll see how this playes out. I'm certainly not expecting much accuracy out of King5.

Poor fucker.

Well, it turns out King5 wasn't so far off.

25 YO single male fell over dead.  Autopsy results weren't available as of this morning. I looked over this afternoon and the iron workers had burned a big "RIP Ryan" in the pan deck sub roof.

My company is out on that site as well, I guess. Unless we're building another barracks on that facility right now.

was it on FT. Lewis?   Damn, Iron workers live hard.  There are more Iron Workers that die up here than any other trade.  RIP brother.
