I will be bringing my copy of Unintended Consequences to the farm.  I will loan it out to who ever will read it, as long as when they are done they pass it on.

Let me know if anyone is intersted.

I would like to add myself to that list. What's it about? I know a lot of people seem to think that it's a worthwhile read, so I'm willing to take a look at it even w/o knowing.

It's a great read, that's what it is!

Seriously, I just finishied it, and it left me very angry.  There're too many true stories in there that just piss you off.  If more people read a book like this, the second (completely fictional) part might be a lot closer to the truth...  If you want to read about some JBTs getting what's coming to them, this is the book for you.

I just finished Gunbert's copy last night. By far the best book I have read, my wife told me I started screaming in my sleep the other night "The government is gonna take my guns!!" , she told me to STFU and told me what happened in the morning. It is a very intense book!

It's a great book on the history of the U.S. Part of it hasn't happened yet but it's amazing the clarity of the predictions. If I live a full lifespan I will be able to say I remember when only part of the book was fact. I just hope all the right ones become the history it foretells.

Okay, I'm a "member" now.

Anyone needs a signed and/or inscribed copy of UC, call my publisher at (800) 374-4049.  I go by once a week or so to sign special orders.  They take MC/VISA BTW.

For those who want to save a few bucks, Amazon sells them new for about $20.  I'll sign yours for free if you stop by my table at Knob Creek in October.

You might enjoy my website at www.john-ross.net
The weekly column ROSS IN RANGE may be of interest, as well as the stuff on guns, finance, favorite authors, and the UC FAQ.  I'm adding new articles regularly, so check back.

FYI I will be posting to the EE soon about some preban Sendra XM-15s I have for sale.  (Incurred a bunch of debt with my stroke and then divorce, and I'm selling off some things to pay it down.)

Guns are unfired, either complete gun w/16" bbl upper (old style with handle and A1 sights) or just the lower half, either way with collapsible stock.  I am the original owner of these guns;they were shipped direct to me from Sendra in '89.

A couple have Williams set triggers installed.

Letter with each gun saying it was owned by me, if anyone wants it.

Might have a couple of consecutive numbers available, if you want more than one.

An excellent book John. I thoroughly enjoyed(sort of) reading it.
If I can afford it I'd be interested in one of those Sendra's if you'd care to drop me an e-mail.
Thks

Welcome John!  I look forward to reading your work.

Also, I want in on one of those pre-bans.

I doubt prices will go down that much. Look at LE-Only prices, they went up after the ban too. Now that the manufacturers know you will pay $20 for a 30-rd mag, $1500 for a pre-ban configured AR, they may raise their prices for all ARs... its about the almighty dollar... The assault rifles will be in high demand, at least for a year or so... Colts will remain expensive.

Larry, I also dont believe in prebans as investments or whatever. I have never considered buying one before because I believe the ban will sunset and I think they are way overpriced for a few cosmetic features.
I am buying this rifle because it was owned by Mr. Ross.
I WILL shoot it to sight it in, then it goes in the safe.
Besides, John was a skydiver as was Henry Bowman. He is part of both brotherhoods of mine and I will be proud to own one of his rifles.
Shit, a Bushmaster 16" Carbine is over a grand and thats postban.

Nice to have you with us John Ross. I read UC a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. I especially appreciated the attention to accuracy and detail, a rarity these days.

So is it time to feed the hogs?

i finished reading my copy yesterday and im still in awe. after i send it to my liberal mom, it will be up for loaning out.  my trade with mommy was that I would read Hillary's book if she would read mine.  She doesn't even know the half of what she is about to get into!
(like im going to read Hillary's book anyway!)

I wonder if there's Cliff Notes for her book.

Coz_45 loaned me his copy.  I finally got the the meat of the book and flew through it.  Then my wife read it.  Then my little brother read it.  You wouldn't believe what an impact that book has had on our lives.  I'm getting a few copies to start passing around as loaners as Coz_45 did for me.  It's a hell of a book, and everyone needs to read it.

Thank you for writing it, Mr. Ross.  My brother was just mentioning that he wanted to go to Knob Creek after reading the book.  I think we may be heading that way if you're going to be there.

Remember the Alamo, and God Bless Texas...
