Hey there, I am looking for an FFL to do a transfer for me (Recieve a rifle). I am in Royal Oak, so closer to me, the better! My old FFL has since moved on, and I have a deal I want to close on, so any pointers would be appreciated!

Thanks.

I assume you are looking for an individual? I know of at least one shop (Double Action in Mad. Hts.) that does it. Maybe cruise the Gibraltar gun shows and ask some of the smaller dealers?

There is a member here that I believe is in Royal Oak. It might be mouseomatic (sp?) but I havnt seen him around much. Or BigJohnStacy, I think he might be in that area.

Midwest Ordinance - Main and Austin /between 11 and 12 mile about 100ft off main.

Target Sports <? South of 13 mile on East side of Woodward

I don't know transfer prices of either place just know they do transfers.
I work in the area and they make a nice place to take lunch!

Since I live a stone's throw from Midwest, I get the H.Simpson 'Oblivious to the Obvious' award. It didn't even occur to me to ask at the shops.

Thanks for the help, fellahs.

double action is 50 bucks. a cool guy at double action slipped me the card of wessel and told me to go there. nice folks. only downside is they will only do long guns from a non-FFL, pistols are FFL to FFL only there.

Tom goto the gun auction boards, like gunbroker.com or gunsamerica.com. Put your zipcode in and do a search of FFLs in your area. Some of the guys will do it for $15-25 dollars.

I inquired at Target earlier this year and they said they didn't do transfers.
