Anyone have a local source for .50 ammo cans? I can't seem to find any.

Sunny's surplus has 'em on occasion, tho they devote only a small corner of the store for surplus stuff anymore. Looking for a good Army surplus store in the area myself.

OK:

H&H Surplus & Campers' Haven, Baltimore (424 N Eutaw St.). Probably the best military surplus store I have seen in Maryland. Go downstairs, and in the back isles you will find boxes of USGI 30 round magazine pouches (new & used) and USGI 20 round magazine pouches (holds 4 magazines, used - available in nylon and canvas). Prices (in 2001) were less than $7 for each pouch w/ ALICE clips. They also carry BDU pants up to size 5X (many different colors & patterns), and M65 field jackets up to size 5X (in Woodland Pattern). Bring quarters for the parking meters. NO firearms or ammunition. Phone (410)752-2580.

For ammo cans in general, you can typically snag a couple at about any given gun show (except Pikesville & Parkville) and save postage.

If you wanted to order some, J&G Sales advertises them in every issue of SGN:

Wow, I haven't heard that name in years! I forgot all about them.

I gave them a call today, they have what I want in stock. Thanks.
