The grass stuck in the one just shows how hard that stuff hits!

I guess there are a few downed power lines around my work... but the power is still on at work  I have no windows here to look out, I hope my Jeep is ok...

My brother lives in MN.   He says a lot of cars got totalled today.

The sheet metal on modern cars is pretty darned thin compared to old cars.  The older
they are, the better they stand up to big hail.

Not much happened here in Howard Lake...the major buttfucking that the cities is in the middle of / just passing through right now, hit me maybe 20-30 minutes ago...lots of rain and wind, but no hail.

But there's another big storm scheduled to hit here around midnight...

I'm just outside of Anoka.  This system hit at about 1:45.  We got hit again at about 6:15 but that stuff was much smaller (marble sized).  Other than that mostly rain.

Here's the radar track from the storm.  Goes to show just how small it was:

Just heavy rain.  Seems like the hail is contained to the Mississippi river area between Elk River and Anoka, and the south side of the Metro.
