I seem to be a little confused. I am attempting to order 1 case (1000 rd.) of CCI Blazer in 45 auto. The website lists price at $155.99. No problem, it should be a good deal with my C&R FFL that is on file there.

Well, they now tell me that the price listed on the website is the FFL discounted price. They tell me that when I log-on it automatically detects me as an FFL holder. WTF? It didn't do that last time...

I have checked on price of Blazer Brass ammo there (ordered somewhere else) and they provided a $15-20 discount for my FFL. The total cost (shipped, taxes) for the aluminum cased Blazer is $7 HIGHER than the cost of the discounted Blazer Brass they quoted me 2 months ago!

So, my question is: Is the price listed on the website the "discounted" price now? Why wasn't it like that before?

Final e-mail below:

Dear Mr. Hot-Lead,

We appreciate your email! Your feedback is extremely important to us,
it fuels our commitment for continuous improvement and customer
satisfaction.

Mr. Gaston the dealer price of the CCI 45 ACP ammunition is 154.99 a
case. Shipping and taxes would take the grand total to 179.23 for the
order. As to the shot shell ammunition the dealer cost for the case is
66.67. I believe the confusion may be from the advertisement you are
getting your information from. If you are looking on the web when you
log into the system it knows you have a FFL on file and will show you
dealer prices. If you have a Dealer Edition Master catalog and you are
getting the information from there then that is the same pricing. I'm
very sorry for the confusion.

We encourage all of our fellow shooters to make suggestions on new
products and ways we can improve our customer interactions. If you have
any further questions or comments feel free to contact us at
1-800-243-3220 Monday through Friday 8 am - 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9 am -

Once again, thank you for choosing MidwayUSA, we appreciate the
opportunity to serve you!

Sincerely,

Kurt

Hot,

I searched for the same item and it was 155.99. I logged into my dealer acct(C&R also) and it showed the dealer price as 154.99. I'd say that that is the "normal" price and that's one of the few items we dont get any/much of an additional discounts on?? Brownells is like that too on a few items.

A guy i work withs brother works out there, so of course i usually have him get me my ammo for a considerable discount, sometimes , i can tell you from my experience that on some of there products there is hardly a mark up at all on it, a lot of ammo being one of the items that falls into that category a lot of times. A lot of times i can actually find, ahem, WOLF ammo cheaper at other places that what his brothes cost is at midway.

JBowles, good luck! I imagine the tricky part is not spending your entire paycheck there each week...
