Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Alabama SBRs....Legal now?

It was my understanding that SBRs were illegal in Alabama. Someone was going to sign something some months ago to legalize them. Did this happen? I have some friends at a hunting camp that wanted me to bring my toys, but I wanted to make sure it was legal there (after I got my travel forms of course.)

Any thoughts on this?

Iirc, you have to notify and get approval from the ATF before transporting across state lines.

Fill out a ATF Form 5320.20 to transport across State lines.
