If the flash hider is permanently attached and extends the barrel to a total length of 16", it's not considered a SBR. There is no law in Alabama against bayonet lugs.

 Alabama has no AWB & is generally firearms-friendly, with the exception of an archaic prohibition of SBRs/SBSs (one which we are trying every session to get repealed).
