I know SBR's are illegal in AL. But is a 14.5" with a perm attached flash hider legal? What about a bayonet lug without a bayonet attached?

I thinking about buying a 14.5" Bushy upper with phantom flash hider that comes with a bayonet lug. Will this be legal in AL? Thanks!

If the flash hider is permanently attached and extends the barrel to a total length of 16", it's not considered a SBR.  There is no law in Alabama against bayonet lugs.

Yes, as long as the flash hider is permanently attached and extends the barrel to at least 16".
