I wish I would have known this earlier. I got back from Academy about 45 minutes ago and was there looking at the blue box Monarch. I decided to wait and try Brigadoons on Tuesday for a better deal.

im might run by the Academy by my house and buy a couple boxes to see what they scan. if it scans 2.99 then ill stock up! i bought a bunch when they first got it and it was that price. its pretty hot ammo and ive very had a failure with it.

the Academy on walker and 240 is the same. picked up ten boxes for 32.47 after tax.

I went and talked to buddy of mine that works at an Academy and he said this price should last awhile. I am still stocking up before 11-04.

 this is about the best price i've found, even compared to the gun shows and teh intrawebs.i may go back thursday and buy a few more, unless alphagunner bought them all. |

There is a fella at Gunboards that works for Academy, he said the sell goes until 12/27/08 Sorry about the store on NW Expressway, I cleaned them out today.
Oh, you might ask at the gun counter, seems this is an unadvertised sell. They may have some in the back... |
