Excellent, I'll plan on seeing you then!  I got 9 rounds loaded up so far with the fancy new tooling [killed one case setting up the trimmer], and plan to load another 30-40 on Friday afternoon.  I won't be trying 600m just yet, but will try 300 if all goes well.  Give me a call if your plans change.

im planning on bringing out my rem 700 p .308 for sure and i also have a yugo milled mig weld kit to test fire. the M4 will probabaly come along and maybe my pistol too, depending on what my poor ass college budget can allow!

Oh i also got this really cool new reactive target called a sniper cube thats about 4'' square and jumps around when you shoot it. The natzi's as ASC wont let me shoot it because they only allow overpriced paper targets that they supply but you cant see it without as acope at 400 yards anyway!

i say we meet up early somewhere for a cheap breakfast together to get acquainted and then we head over to ASC.

Lets try what we planned on doing last week before the weather ruined it.

300 yard 10 AM egg shoot.

At that early, people starts trickling in, might be tough to keep it short at a restaurant. Atleast at the range, your dont have to wait on anything but the Cease Fire.

I will be there in the early AM.  I'll be driving a blue F-250.

300 for 10 sounds good.
I'll probably get stomped but it'll be fun.

CHEVY22/ANDREW!!!!!!

havent talked to you since mardi gras, now you must come out to asc!! i finished my yugo underfolders and im sure you would be able to appreciate them!

To get to ASC just take 45 north to beltway 8 and then take belway 8 west to westtheimer go west on westtheimer rd till you get to westtheimer parkway and hang a right, go down about 2 miles and youll see the range on your right.

You really need to come out man, its going to be a blast, i plan on being there around 10:00 am and im going to bring all of my toys and this new sniper cube, the guys will get a kick out of it.

Anyhow lets plan on all meeting and shooting at 10AM, guys with load development needs and others that need to play with themselves can arrive early.

Andrew if you can go call me tonight at 281 468 7762 and if you cant make it call me at 281 468 7762!

Could not have been a more perfect day with great company.

So the rules have been laid out, and the heat is on!!!

Today will go down as a prelude to more matches to come, and a learnign experience for me to go head to head with the F-class guys(Great shooters). And how about a rookie(Bryan) coming to show us how it's done with the egg shoot-out.

Next date should be April -29/30th depending on weather.

C ya next month!!!

Had a great time guys and it turned out to be a perfect day.

Tim, who you calling Rookie?  You didn't do too bad on the egg shoot either!  It got my hopes up only to be spanked by the F- Classers when we were shooting for groups on paper.

hkusp9, like it was mentioned today, if you had been there "early", you wouldn't have been playing with yourself all day and would have been in on the match!  Sorry, I had to say it!  Just giving you a hard time.

Brian

Edit: Pics added...didn't get everyones as a few left before I took them.

Great pics Brian!!

IIRC - results were as follows

Egg shoots - (this was more difficult than most folks thought)

Tim - 3
Bryan - 2
David - 1

5 shot groups x 5

Mark - 4
David - 1

Again, it was a great time and thats all that mattered.  (Until next month when we do this for $$)

i saw your little friend at the range and she turns me on, one day we will run away together!

and also next time i come to shoot ill definitely be there at 8 am sharp to zero so i wont have to spend all day being the moron that gets left out of the fun, sorry to be the wet towel guys.

I had a great time shooting with everyone and i look forward to coming out there again only next time ill probabally have one of those $100 walmart telescopes or a wireless camera and a portable TV. this is my next scheme to see through the mirage on windy and hot days.

Oh and after some thought ive decided to cut down the varget on my .308 loads by about a grain and a half to aviod flattening primers and blowing my self up, ive decided that i want to get old one day after all!

Good to have met you out there.

Hopefully next time you will be in the competition instead of just there.

On another note, I went to ASC on Sunday for the first time in about 10 years.  Busy, but not packed.  All the range officers were very nice.  I have had a negative opinion of this place for a long time, but my mind has changed.  Tried out the new Nam xm177-clone upper that Keith did some work on, and also put a few boxes through my new P1 ( west German P38)  Both ran just fine, but the P1 doesn't like PMC.
