Is anyone from SE MI already in on an AR lower group buy where they can add another (lower to their order)?

I'm looking for someone to add one to their buy for me, and I'll get it ftf here (or have it shipped to my FFL, if necessary).

If you can, or want to discuss, please PM me.

If you can't, don't bother commenting; I have my reasons.

Thanks.

Are you just looking to get a stripped lower or something complete?

If you want a top notch lower contact www.ad-tek.net.
I just ordered three of these today. Good price at $135.
He should still have a few in stock. These are made by Mega, which makes awesome uppers & lowers.

If you're looking for a complete lower, there's a few on the EE.

Firing Line had DPMS and M&P stripped lowers in stock as of Friday.  There were three or four of each.

Any idea how much the M&P's were?

IIRC one guy at the gun show had one for $350.

I want to say $185, but I'm not 100% sure.

Sorry for not clarifying it was a group buy for stripped lowers.  It was on www.1919a4.com.  The deadline was closed, but the organizer was letting people who had already ordered add more lowers to their order.  Today the whole website is down. He had received orders from members of other sites, including a bunch from ar15.com.  I was just looking for someone local who might already have been in on it to add a couple for me.

The stripped lowers were Double Star.

I'm interested in any mil spec stripped lower with a good reputation.

From the Industry forum here I read that Essential has stripped lowers in stock and ships in 10 days, IF you can get through on their phone line.  I'm going to try to do that tomorrow, if I don't get overwhelmed at work.  I'll post my results.  I'm also going to look into the other suggestions in this thread.  I'd like to keep my total cost under $150.  (Essential Arms will be $100, plus shipping, plus FFL, so around $140).

Thanks for the replies.

I'm in the 1919 groupbuy as well, but I was under the impression that all the "extra" lowers were spoken for.

last I heard from Chris, he was going to end up with hundreds of extras, due to all the people who pulled out because of the credit card fiasco.

also, there may likely be some people pulling out already because Doublestar is raising their price by 6/each.

their loss is (conceivably) our gain.

also, Missahba, I might mention that AIM surplus is doing backorders on Superior lowers for about the same price as the GB. they told me they should be shipping in about 4 weeks.

I need two anyway, so if I try jumping in on the GB, put Essential on my cell contacts and keept calling, and look into the SL15 at AIM as well, odds are I'll score on two out of three.

Were the Doublestars multi-cal?  I'd like te get at least one multi-cal marked if I can.

no, they're marked 5.56, to the best of my knowledge.

firing line's lowers were

$185 for DPMS
$195 for M&P

that's when I called them last week

they charge $40 for the first lower and $10 for each add'l to do the FFL transfer...so my $105 EA lowers will cost $125 each...+ 3.15 credit card fee and $5 shipping...guess that's the market...

Or you could go to Yatin Patel and pay $20 for the lot, or Ken Kubin and pay $15 each.

Problem for me is I'm at least an hour away from those guys.  I don't know of an FFL anywhere in Macomb or St. Clair county charging less than $25 each piece.

If he's going to have extra, how much?

$90/ea +$11 shipping and $2.50 insurance. that's $103.50.
