Well, good news and bad news.

Great company if not a penny was spent.

Breakfast was good, the waitress was better. She even had a blast with Grandpa.

All that money, noplace to spend it. No place that was having Christmas sales that is.

40% off and closed

Then down to Quantico.......25% off and Closed.

But have no fear, one person realized today was the biggest shopping day of the year, Mamasan. And she even knew we are heavy hitters (read gunnutshopaholics impulse buyers).

I came home with a back seat full, it is indeed a Merry Christmas. Im just glad I didnt take my pickup truck, my card would have been melted. Bags, straps, mags, clips and other stuff.

And she even gave me a massage in the back room. I wasnt real cool with tumbleweed watching and smiling, but hey, I was busy enjoying it.

Today was a good day, to damn bad the places we have wanted to shop all week decided to close on this gigantic shopping day, hell all the malls werent closed, they were packed.

Our trip to Quantico Arms

Just like a little kid on Christmas morning, if Christmas was CLOSED!

These folks had a good plan for getting money from us.

It was Christmas Eve and the boys went out looking for toys.

They looked high, and they looked low,

They even looked at Quantico.

In their quest to find a friendly retailer,

They even went to Tactical Trailor.

Da_Bunny got turned into GrandPa_Bunny by a GrandMa named Sheri at Denny's.

CavVet got pwnd at Mamasan's, who will be having a very good Christmas,

....thanks to the boys looking for toys.

We did talk quite a bit about Gibby

It was great to get out the house today and what better way than to spend some time and money with good company. I was prepared to blow some serious cash on my gear fix but ended up licking the windows at Quantico and shaking the fence at TT

Oh well, at least the trip to Mamasan's has me feeling a little more bullet resistant and all that stuff hides under the tree very well

We did breakfast from 1010 till about 1130. TT & Quantico (CLOSED) for 20 minutes or a half hour taking pictures and drooling, then off to Mamasans.

Korean lady with a surplus store in Tillicum village.

Take the Berkeley St/Fort Lewis exit where the military loan and $1 chinese food places are.

It's a few blocks north of there, across from Foxhole surplus.
I think the sign says "Quick Stop    Military surplus.:

I went there for the first time this past week, she had some stuff I couldn't get locally.

I'm told the good stuff is hidden or kept in the back and to ask if there is anything you're looking for and don't see.

She's also only 3 exits away from Quantico Arms and Tactical Tailor, among other vendors, hence the mention in this thread.

Damn.  I should have been more patient.  I left there just before 11, then passed by again after I left mamasans.

Oh, mamasans is the small surplus store across the street from the Foxhole in Tillicum.  She has lots of new stuff.  The only place that I've seen new ACU patterned assault packs, the real deal issued ones, and fighting load carriers (the issue MOLLE vest), as well as the ones in woodland.  Better prices than Foxhole too.

I think it was $7.95.  She had a couple that were still new in plastic.
