my wife and i have talked about it... is there actually a vac specifically for the swine flu?... if there were then wouldn't the whole issue be rather exagerated???

Nope I have a really bad feeling about this vaccine. I may have seen zombie movies too much but something is not right here.
Did anyone see I Am Legend? Vaccine comes out before being tested and they really think the people will take it? I know the sheep will take it but come on isn't there enough people that are not sheep left? edited for spelling |

nope...every year they give out regular flu shots and rarely do they ever get the correct strain...thus why i never got one....now they are trying to get us freaked out by swine flu...well folks how many die of regular flu in the us every year...30 ish thousand and a few have died from the swine flu here? i'll take my chances...
as a side note...late 70's swine flu popped up...the .gov gave it out like candy and warned everyone to get their shot...more people died from the vaccine than from the flu...a bunch of peopl ended up getting guianne barret syndrome (sp?)...they are saying the new version of the swine flu vaccine has the same problem... |

I had some abnormal blood work a couple years ago. Was sent to an immunologist who poked/stuck/drained blood more than I care to remember. Ended up determining I do not develop antibodies to many vaccines. Told me the flu shot was probably a waste for me. I did develop an extremely high response to a pertussis booster I had from another doctor though. It was so high, the lab contacted the health department and immunologist telling them I had been exposed and needed to seek treatment.
