[Last Edit: 10/9/2007 6:03:42 AM EST by varack]

I hear horror stories about them (WASR10) but really havent expierienced one first hand. After about 4,000 through 1 of my WASR10's w/o cleaning it, it only had 1 FTF.

The thing with the WASR10 is that you can Dremel out the Mag well so it accepts Hi-cap mags, or in my case double stack 15 round mags I made. Before I did that it had a single stack 5 and 10. Don't know if that applies to the others.

There are a bunch out there but once you get one you will want more!! BEWARE!!

SAR'S, Vepr's, WASR's, Arsenal's, and anything else that doesn't have a flashhider, bayonet lug or folding stock.

Personally I prefer the Romanian SAR series as they are the only AK's in the country built on a true military receiver.

Egyptian Maadi's are fine. The older Norinco's I wouldn't touch.

Never said they were bad, however old Norinco's are illegal here. That's why I wouldn't touch one.
