I'm heading back to MT to next month and do some shooting. Is there anywhere in MT along I-90 corridor to pick up so 7.62 x 39?

last time I was in Missoula I couldn't found anything but the expensive stuff

Sportsman's Warehouse on North Reserve has the best ammo selection in Missoula that I know of.
Everywhere else doesn't seem to have as much or is pretty expensive. Getting down to the Hunting Shack in Stevensville is well out of your way.

Don't know if you might have more luck in Butte, Bozeman, or Billings. Depends on how far down I-90 you're going.

if you go to billings, there is a place called daddyo's pawn and gun, they usually have a pallet of 7.62 fmj wolf and a pallet of 7.62 jhp wolf out front, and a couple more pallets of each in back

thanks. acutally heading all the way to billings. I'll call my brother and have him check the store for me.
