I have a pretty good idea.

I'm planning on going mostly to try and sell two things that I don't feel like hassling with mailing out. I'll be the guy with the ponytail and the Uzi and P232 for sale.

I've been in Saint Louis for quite a while now but have never met any of the local crew... if anyone sees me at this show on Saturday if you go chat me up... I've been looking for some local friends to go shooting with.

It's Saint Louis Weapons Collectors I think... their site is here: http://www.stlweaponcollectors.com/

Cool, you know it will be worthwhile to go to if CMMG comes!!!!! As a relative newby here, the St Louis area needs a "good" gun show. The one's I've been to were lame, just bolt guns, and Nazi's. Even my son was embarrassed of the two table Nazi's.

I am going to try to make it. Jeff, John, if you fellers are going to be there I will definitely be there.

BTW, I just moved from my house that would have been no more than half a mile away from the show....

Cool. This should save from having to drive out to you to buy a reciever. You going to have parts or just complete rifles?

I might be there Sunday. If you see a guy on a black scooter with a retread for a front bumper that's me.

I'm getting ready to leave for the show in an hour or so, I'll be the guy in the black jogging pants, green tshirt and ponytail carrying an Uzi and a P232 for sale. My name is Jason so if you see me say hi! I'll also have my mother and one of her friends in tow as she contacted me last night asking to go with me because she wants to shop for a self defense handgun...

My "corruption" of my family continues!

Just got back from the show. I was there over three hours, looking and visiting. How was the show? EXCELLENT!!

I'm so happy that the St Louis area Finally has a large gun show!!! I hope that everyone makes a lot of money and that this becomes a regular show.

There was something there for everyone. A couple tables of jerky; plenty black rifles (thanks CMMG); lots of C&R; ammo galore; plenty of rifles, shotguns and handguns; lots of old weapons (not my thing, but still lots of excellent pieces); several tables with NFA stuff, and quite a few $10,000 European shotguns.

Prices? Well, some pretty good prices, and the usual insane dealer prices. I fell victim of gun show withdrawl and ended up making a lot of impulse purchases (Watch out for Jeff at CMMG ) LOL.

I'd highly recommend everyone check it out. There were lots of people there, but enough room to get around.

My recommendation? Big Thumbs Up!!

I'd also have to say this was the best local show I've been to in quite a while. I managed to sell both my Uzi and my P232 and got to oogle some class III goodies.

I've never been to the place yet; What do they have posted about CCW?

EdIT--Nevermind; I found it on the flyer. "No loaded weapons".

Pretty good show. I was glad to see the antique guns, especially the engraved '73's, and found a Winchester 1895 that I will probably negotiate for later.

Bought a 16 inch upper with Phantom flash hider - Jeff suggested the standard Ar15.com strategy when I was trying to decide which flash hider I wanted - get both!

That's pretty standard at any gunshow I've been to in the country.

And with all the gunstore commandos that are always there, can you blame them? If everyone would just keep their CCW put away, there wouldn't be any problems. But you know Bubba has to show off his Super Duper .90 Caliber Concealed Carry Little Big Boy Popgun Blaster to everyone in the building.

Ok, but I must say I saw at least 5 people printing there. Not complaing, but I think the don't ask don't tell works here.
