Post any traffic related issues, excessive lines at Gas Stations, Stores, anything of the such..

Down here in Fredericktown, I'm seeing a slight uptick in traffic, lots of campers and RVs, out of town plates and folks wandering around looking like tourists...

Also talked to the camp ground manager at a local campsite we frequent.  They are completly full up for the week,  on a week they are normally pretty empty...

He said they even filled up all the primitive sites too and that rarely ever happens, unless it's one of the major Holiday weekends, even then not this bad....

My dad and I are planning on being at ARPC first thing in the morning for bout an hour or so before I have to head back up 141 to get my baby and meet the wife and other two kids at school.

I'll try to give an update on traffic during my travels.  I would expect south bound to be far worse.

Do they still have the southbound I-55 bridge, just north of Pevely, closed down to one lane? Last week traffic was backed up so bad that it took me an hour to get from M to Pevely.  Had I known that it was down to one lane I would've taken Metropolitan.

I'm seeing the same in the KC area.

Heavier than usual but far from the predicted craziness.

LOL...

Our office is Closed from Noon to 3:00 for the Eclipse Hype.

My pop is down from St. Louis, staying with me for a week or so...  So I'm going home to watch it with him (really to check on him)....
We've got a few pairs of the glasses too...

Our office is right on the court square and I'm not seeing any abnormal traffic patterns this morning, maybe a bit heavier, but not much...

Traffic was pretty sparse going I to work. Penguin park was packed, and some vehicles pulled over on side streets. Nothing that stopped me from getting to work .

Not much north of the river in KC.

With all of the clouds, a lot of people got all dressed up for nothing.

We got lucky over by WOF. We were able to watch it, then about 5 minutes later the clouds came in.

May as well be Eclipse related, 152 at Green hills Road is flooded. I have never seen that before. It's a few inches deep all the way across the highway

Watching the eclipse really was remarkable. I didn't see and real increase in traffic here in Fredtown. Attachment Attached File

Yup avoiding my sister and kids...  He's staying another week or so...  What the hell, he's retired...

Yea, this morning I saw a bit of an Uptick, but nothing major...  I really expected a lot more with all the Hoopla on F.B. and other news sites...

Got to watch it with Pops, so over all pretty cool..

I was down in F-Towne too, it was a spur of the moment idea. I couldn't get anyone else to go, everyone was working or crying about what traffic may be. I'm glad I took the day off, not many summer days left. I also got to try the new can, I waited 18 damn months for.

Okay, so the world didn't end. That's good. But does anybody know how long it takes for a one-time large dose of "OMG The World Is Gonna End So Why The Heck Not" cocaine to completely leave one's body?  Asking for a friend.
