I've been hunting around for a longer range than the one inside the Jefferson National just outside of blacksburg.  The only range I know of anywhere near that has a longer range is the Roanoke Rifle association's, but it's private.  Can anyone direct me to a range within an hour or so of Blacksburg thats larger than 100 yards.  I've looked at the tacked post above, but to no avail.

Or if anyone would be willing to help me meet someone inside of the Roanoke Rifle Assoc. in the hopes of gaining a sponsorship, I would be much obliged.

I'm not sure of ones nearby that are that distance, though I'd like to know also (more for curiosity).  As for RR&RC, the only contact I have is Mark Steinle <[email protected]>.  He's the match director for RR&RC's IPSC/USPSA matches there.  He likes putting rifle or shotgun side stages at the match and might have information beyond the hunting season sight-in they hold there.  Further out, another club, Rivanna Rifle and Pistol Club near Charlottesville also has a range that I think is over 100yds, but that's far away from Bburg for your purposes.  Have you tried some of the "local" gunshops to ask? (G&G in Christiansburg, Harkrader's Custom Gun outside Christiansburg, Bryansteen's in Roanoke, etc?)
