A normally 30 minute commute home from the store in Canton took me 8 hours.  Ocho.  Then, after all the waiting and white knuckle driving, I get home at 2am, step out onto the driveway, slip on the ice and bust my ass, and, while doing so, I fracture a bone in my wrist.

So, how was your Wednesday?

is that really how you broke your wrist?  or were spending too much time in the BOTD?

PS 0200 is technically Thursday not wednesday....

My Wednesday...
Had a great presentation to the leadership at (blank) big company in carrollton that i work for.

Came home to notice that my wife had our gas logs on and deer meat tacos ready to eat.  Then retired to the man cave to tweek my 1911 build. Looked down and noticed my GSD "Zeiss" was laying at my feet watching my build.  Maybe he was mad because it wasn't a luger??? Who knows.  Other than having to reset my router (thanks uncle John), it was great!

Damn!  I am glad I was off last night.  EOC sent me an e-mail saying we had 256 traffic incidents (read: accidents) between 1600 and 2000.  As for the wrist...

OUCH!  I am pretty sure i chipped a bone in my wrist/thumb area on Sept. 2 when I had an incident at work that required use of force.  Its feels like ass sometimes and I can't crack my thumb with the restof my fingers without ridiculous pain.  Don't be like me, and get yours looked at!

heres my 12/15/10 story. I worked all day and was on call so i knew it would be a long one. then i find out the sorry ass night shift called out so guess who had to stay and sleep at work.....yep me. so after a 20hr day and sleeping 4 hrs at. work because the roads were to bad to leave at dark i head home. On the way home i run off the road and miraculously didnt hit anything or damage my car. then while walking up my driveway i slip fall backwards and put a 3 inch gash on the back of my head that needed stitches.......oh well could have been worse.

went duck hunting and fell in a beaver run at 0900.  Left the blind at 1200 with 6 ducks.  Not too bad but it was fucking cold

After work, I drove home on GA Hwy 9 South from Cumming and it looked like the road to Basra, there must have been 20 wrecks. I stopped in my unmarked car at the ones where there was not already a uniformed car at to see if there were any injuries. Luckily most just ran off the road. Took me two hours to go 12 miles. Almost wrecked a couple times myself. Wasn't bad for me, but I felt bad for lots of folks.
