This course is designed to equip the student with the skills necessary to efficiently utilize the AR-15/M4 carbine in a tactical role. The curriculum for this class includes, but is not limited to: the fundamentals of marksmanship, mindset, tactical manipulations, intermediate positions, non-diagnostic malfunction clearances, terminal ballistics, target engagement sequences, after-action sequences, pistol transitions, equipment selection and preventative maintenance.
Other topics also include:
• Multiple target engagements,
• CQB considerations,
• Strong hand and weak hand only shooting,
• Asymmetrical positions,
• Shooting on the move,
• Tactical problem solving.
This course also introduces the shooter to various diagnostic drills to improve the shooter's technical knowledge and ability in regards to operating and manipulating the carbine. Loadout:
