I am flying in on monday september 21st tommarow to pick up some office equipment that I won in an auction in both DFW, austin, and houston. I would like to know what resaurants you all would suggest for those area's. What would you recommend for entertainment in dallas? I Love seafood and since I am going to be so close to the gulf, I was wondering if there are any great hole in the wall seafood restaurants in the above area's also. I will be stopping a Larue if I have time!

I would love to do some dove hunting, but I am flying in so I wont have a shotgun, or a place to hunt.

DFW and Austin are close to the Gulf???? I guess everything is relative.

WELL to be relitive to OHIO yes it is (like 1600 miles closer than me).

I guess it's close to the Gulf if you consider 250-300 miles close.

I have never been to texas but isn't houston 50-60 miles from the gulf?

That is were my flight lands and were I am picking up my truck. I will be there at least monday-tuesday morning so I was trying to find something to do that night.

I would like to see that. I was in morgan city when it hit. And the wind from the storm (ike) in ohio knocked a tree down on our garage. I know how it must be. If you go to most of south LA it is still not fixed and it probebly never will be. (from katrina)
