I think it might be a good idea to ask if we should bring our own little grills or extra coleman propane cans as backup. In case one goes down or runs out of fuel. Also, can anyone tell us where we can get ammo at a good price in the area or where? I got a feeling many of us are in need of more for the shoot.

URGENT MESSAGE FROM BALZAC

"I need people to go onto the NY Roll Call thread and IM each person about the meet"

"I need to know EXACTLY what people are bringing and in what quantities as well as how many guests so we know how big the pig should be"

I am looking at my calendar now trying to see if this will work but I would like to come out!

Gentlemen,
I'm sorry to tell you that after several months of planning, the Social Director is moving to Pennsylvania tomorrow.

While I'll be keeping a new, smaller place nar the City to use during the week, I doubt if I'll see the Island much, if ever, on the weekends as I'll be going out past Port Jervis on I84 rather than south over the Whitestone.

More details to follow as I get time...network shutting down now and no Web aces until at least next week....

TTYL

Your only doing that to be closer to Bulletfest
Makin plans already!!!!!! Good luck with all.

So what do we need?

Let's make a list and have people volunteer to bring what they can.

Anyone interested in nametags this time around, or should we skip it?

OK, since I have a convenient post at the top of a page, I'll keep a list here of people attending.

What we need to bring is a petition, that we can all sign and send to the peope in charge, requesting Balzac's reinstatement and that the past be forgotten.

Bear,
Being a noob here what happened to him?  If you can't reply I am sure I will find out on Sat.

Wait til Saturday, keep the thread on topic.....

But it involved his affinity for underage french poodles and Absinthe, and he posted pics to prove it.

OK, I'm there and so is my daughter, possibly both daughters.

Let me know what needs bringing.

Link Posted: 10/2/2005 8:39:49 AM EDT
We really nee about 40 people or so to really roast a pig. If not I will load up the gas grill and its burgers and franks or a 6ft hero. A pig needs more planning and prep. And I will be there with 2 or 3 guests or shit just me but then again I can eat for 2 or 3!!!!! So can Phobia !!!!!!!
Link Posted: 10/2/2005 12:02:15 PM EDT
I'll definately go. If the shit list is low then I'll bring my appetite. Last shoot, I brought strudels and cookies. The cookies seemed to be a hit so I'll bring those again unless the list of attendees grows and we'll break it down from there. But like Balzac said, this shoot is coming up soon so we should have a lot planned by now. Only problem is that not a lot are responding right now.
Link Posted: 10/2/2005 12:47:26 PM EDT
Being the new guy, what do people like to drink?  I'll bring H20, Snapple, Soda (Pop anybody from PA), or whatever the group likes.  Let me know.  I have some big boat coolers.  Also, as far as food goes I am like 6'4" 260lbs before lunch so I eat for 2!
Also, what time do you usually get going being the noob that I am?
Link Posted: 10/2/2005 12:57:02 PM EDT
I'm in what to bring I guess soda and if need be Hot Dogs with rolls
Link Posted: 10/2/2005 2:35:41 PM EDT
I'm in!!!

Mag42,

Give me an idea on what you want me to bring (soda, food, condiments, whatever is needed) and I'll take care of it......

These darned things are always on the weekends when I'm away.

Next time, we're booking it on a date I can attend.

And, we're having kosher swine.
Link Posted: 10/3/2005 12:46:16 PM EDT
I can't make it on Saturday, reduce swine poundage accordingly, over.
Ware your Kevlar, the hunters will be preforming there annual site in out of that box of
ammo they bought in '97.

Hey...I haven't run this past the boss yet, but would it be possible for someone to pick me up at home(12 min from the range) in the early morning and drive me back home in the late morning. My daughter's 1st birthday party is the 8th @ 1400. My wife'll be doing the party prep. I may be able to escape in the morning if I get permission.

Otherwise I can't make it. I can't drive on all these drugs.

We'll I can, just not straight. Which is fine, as most roads are curvy.

Word of advice: Check with "The Boss" first before going to pick him up.

It's covered. The rubber will stop spinning just long enough for Sherm to get in. The only thing the boss will see is a set of skid marks and a cloud of smoke...

Seeing as to how lame our response has been I suggest that we all bring a little something extra as far as food and drinks go. Nobody has responded that they wanna bring a grill so I suggest sandwiches and chips and donuts and stuff like that. I'm going anyway rain or shine so lets see if those Jersey boys will make it out to our shoot. Hell if its raining hard we'll just head over to JR's Steak house and see if any one of us can eat that 72 oz steak!!!!!!
