Left Mosul earlier this morning, have to stop in Baghdad at some point. Plane stopped at some unknown (to me) base and blew a tire on landing. Should be about 3 hours for them to fly another tire in. Good news is their internet is faster than Mosul's was. Hope to be in Baghdad tonight, Dubai tommorow, and IL Wednesday morning.
Who's up for a beer? I have to see what the "wife" has planned this week but should be free next week. Oh, got woken up by a 5.2 earthquake couple nights ago. I think I bounced 6 times laying on my bed. Fun stuff!

It's good to hear Dan. We could go to Hooter's, or, some other place of your choosing. What kind of toys are you bringing back for show and tell?

Brrrrr it's cold here! Base I stopped at with the blown tire was FOB Sykes located in Tal Afar Iraq. I then spent 2 nights in Baghdad next Camp Liberty. Man they have a huge PX there. All the tactical gear you could possible immagine. Picked up some more 511 clothing to add to my collection. Flew from there into Dubai and spent 6 hours there, enough to get a shower and a couple Tequila Sunrises. Flew into O'hare this morning.
Had 3 Warsteiner Beers this evening and feel like I've been drinking all day. Thinking about Hooters Schaumberg Saturday the 1st 7pm or any day there after till the 5th. Anyone have any preferences? |

Have another buddy that is in the Reserves in that area, I'm going to try to visit when I get back. My company makes us all stay a night there on the way out and a night or 2 on the way in. Kind of a pita but oh well. |
