I just bought my First handgun. I went to a local rental range and used an xd45 and i loved it. After lots of talking to my wife i went friday to buy it. I ended up purchasing the xd9 in OD service.THE SAD news is that i live in CA and will have to wait till my gun ships plus my 10day waiting period.I dont think that makes sense. I have to wait up to 3 weeks till the supplier ships it then i have to still wait the ten days. I cant wait to get out of CA. Maybe the USMC will ship me out of ca soon. Any way i just wanted to share the news xd's rock.

Great gun. You need to move to a free state though. I spotted a pistol I couldn't live without at the gun show yesterday and carried it out the door ten minutes later.

So i got my xd9 today. I am happy about my handgun and my wife even got interested and said she might come out for a shoot. i will post a range review soon. and pictures of all the dead paper targets.

I buy on impulse alot, and I might change my mind if there was a waiting period.
