Personally I only own 1 Glock and I love it. G31C .357 Sig

Has anyone bought one and for whatever reason you just did not like?

I have a 23 and a 36. I like them both

G27. Can't carry it anywhere I can't carry a G23, but holds less rounds and doesn't fit my hand as well.

Have a 19 and hate it. I want more Glocks now

I agree, although my case is similar for the 26 versus the 19. The lack of significantly greater concealability plus the hump on the shorter grip just doesn't allow a solid sure grip for me. Definitely a YMMV situation.

That's a hard question. They all have a special place... The one that stands out is my G29... It's a love / hate (not really hate but you get the idea)... nothing like 10mm awesomeness in such a small package but my hand is so big, it's not all that comfortable even with the Pierce extension, so I tend to not use it much. My original plan was to get a 29 and 30 to counter the 20 and 21 I already have, but after the 29, I'm holding off on the 30.

the disappointment? it's that they don't make a compact 10mm and .45... sure it'd be bigger than the 19 but take the 29/30 and add just a little longer grip to it, along with a couple more rounds.

I haven't found a GLOCK yet that I didn't like.

i have all three sizes (full, compact, sub) and i love them all!!!!!

The Glocks I have owned have been nothing but great pistols, and not disappointing in any way.

From an academic standpoint, I might say the GAP models (37,38, & 39) are "disappointing" though....................................

Didn't care much for the 27. Grip and recoil was never comfortable. Sold it bought a 23 and now very happy .
Link Posted: 3/29/2009 4:47:59 AM EDT
Everything that isn't a Model 19
Link Posted: 3/29/2009 4:59:08 AM EDT
Glock 36, even thought it was slim, the frontstrap to backstrap was too long and did not fit my hand right. Shot low for me and carried 7 rds...basically my Glock 23 was the same size, carried 14 rds and felt better in my hand. Sold the 36.

+1 on thinking that the 26/27/33 don't offer much advantage over the 19/23/32, at least not IWB. Ankle or pocket may be a different story, but I don't carry there.

This one may upset some people––I never was able to get into the 34. Didn't really do anything for me that the 17 doesn't do for me. It wasn't bad, I just couldn't justify keeping it.

Glock 26. After I bought a Walther PPS I realized what a thick little thing the Glock was, I ditched it.

Why? Is the 23 that much slower target to target, than the 19, because of extra recoil???

Glock 36. I wanted to like the thing, so bad. It was the perfect size and concealed and carried great. No matter how I shot it and no matter what Glock did to fix the problems, the damned gun FTF and FTE on a regular basis.

I kept hearing people tell me that I limp wristed it. I don't give a shit. NO OTHER gun that I have ever owned has failed like that one. I should not have to worry about how tight that I am holding a gun when I need to use it in the heat of the moment.

I have a G19 and it is my favorite handgun.

I ditched a 36 because it would pinch my hand painfully right where the magazine seated with the grip. Replaced it with a 30.
Link Posted: 3/29/2009 9:27:48 AM EDT
All of them,I do not like the grip angle or the funky trigger......I do own a Glock though............A folding foxhole shovel I bought at a fun show once they made

I loved everything Glock until my agency drank the koolaid and we were issued the Glock 37. Although superficially it resembles things I like, it is very different. Not enough rounds, no compatibility with my backup (G27), the thing even balances differently when held in my hand. Not to mention I have shot a lot less since we switched from .40SW to .45GAP because we simply cannot buy .45GAP ammo.

I fully admit my G37 hangups might be all mental on my part but I hate that f*&kin gun.

The 26/27.

Not any smaller than the 19/23 in real world terms. Made no difference in CCW terms.

Oh, we are in the Glock forum. If I had to pick one, I'd say the 36. I took a dremel to the frame and fixed what I didn't like. Now it feels much better in my hand. My 19 is one of my favorite carry guns, that is after I dremeled of the knobs on the grip.

The Glock forum IS a Technical Forum, just like AR Discussions or Reloading, rather than a Discussion forum such as a Hometown Forum or GD, etc.

My dissapointment lies not with any particular Glock produced, but with what they haven't produced. I'm still waiting for a full sized single stack .45ACP.

You saved me from starting my own thread. Thanks.

The G37 is the WORST GLOCK EVER. I have owned and shot several Glock models. I now have an issued G37. I tried to like it, but I can't. Heres why.

1. Lower capacity than G21-G21sf
2. Niche round. Ballistics aside, where the hell can you find/afford it? This = less off duty training. (with this gun)
3. Makes all of my off duty gear obsolete.
4. NY trigger sucks. It seems like every Glock I get, the trigger gets heavier. (even comparing NY triggers)
5. I have a hard time shooting it well. I have shot 100s of thousands of rounds from Glocks in training and competition. I have an NRA "expert" classification. I am a firearms instructor. I can't hit with this gun. ( I can, but not easily.)
6. You really have to manhandle the mags and slide to run this gun. The mags are full, and hard to seat. The recoil spring is heavy.

I can only hope that when we trade these bastards in, we go back to a standard gun.

I hate my Glock 19. I spend so much money on the damn thing.
