Just picked up my 75B Nickel.  Will these pistols handle +P and +P+ rounds without damaging them?  Is Sellier and Bellot dependable ammo for use in a CZ?  What other surplus loads do you shoot?
Thanks
Thom

Thom

you should have no problem with +P loadings in the CZ-75B 9mm, but don't take my word for it, check with CZ or go the the CZ boards, there is a wealth of info. there. I have used +P in mine with no ill effects. Presently I feel my best personal defense load is Speer Gold Dot 124 grain +P.  I would not recommend +P+, however that type of question really should go to CZ - USA.

My 75B has been 100% reliable with everything I have fed it, including S & B.

My 75B 9mm seems to eat anything I feed it, and burp with pleasure.
I don't really go in for +p+ loads, so I cant say for sure.
When it's around, Yugo sub-gun ammo is a hot load that isnt quite +p level, but is a "hardball" type projectile. I havent looked  for this stuff in quite a while, so I am not sure of availability.
I rely on Hydro-Shocks in my defensive guns.

S&B should be reliable, its what the factory uses in Uhersky Brod to test fire the pistols!

The CZ 75B will handle the +P without issue.  I can't speak to the +P+ personally, so I can't comment.  Just remember, excessive use of the +P ammo will accelerate the wear and tear on any pistol.

S&B ammo  will function just fine in the CZ 75B.

For blasting ammo I have found PMC to be very accurate in my 75B

For protection I like 124gr +p+.

I bought a case of Olympic 9mm shortly after I got my CZ.  It was 124gr ball, and man, my CZ was noticably more accurate with it than with Win white box.   Wish I could find more of it!

As long as I use the factory Mec-gar mags, My 85 combat eats everything I put in it. I shoot silhouette plates with the cheapest Wolf, Monarch or Blazer I can find. I do short practice sessions with various +p loads. Around the house, it's loaded with sub-sonic 147 gr massive hollow point hand loads. It NEVER hiccups.

0 issues with mine and I have shot every brand I can think of.

I put 35 rounds of Winchester Ranger, +P+ through my CZ 75B, and kept 15 for when the SHTF.

I know it's not good for the pistol, and I don't intend on putting any more +P+ stuff through it, but it was able to fire it quite nicely. Personally, I didn't REALLY notice any difference in terms of recoil, noise, or what have you over regular 9mm luger loadings, but i'm a noob to pistols.

Stay away from Blazer Aluminum 9mm. The only time my 75b has ever jammed was with this stuff. It had trouble with extraction.

After changing extractor springs with Wolff springs, my CZ's are reliable with Blazer, Geco, Independence, and American Eagle ammo. They are most accurate with American Eagle 124gr FMJ.

I have shot Aluminum Blazer 9mm in my P01 no problems but every .40 I have tried Blazer Brass in which I guess would be 4 it has jammed in every one of them. I actualy have started using more Remington lately especialy the 100rd packs of HPs.

I shoot CCI blazer aluminum 115gr in my cz75b. 1000rnds, never had a problem.

I shoot a lot more blazer aluminum 9mm and .40sw in my Walthers. No issues there.

YMMV
