1977 walther p1 fails to feed after first shot. Using UMC ammo. Rounds seem to get stuck in magazine. Whats going wrong?

The "usual" in these P1's is years and years of dried storage lube.
The magazines are simply sticky inside.

Strip the gun and magazines and give them a good cleaning, then lube with fresh lube.

Found trouble with magazine. After the recoil of the first shot all the rounds are thrown forward in the magazine where the brass case gets stuck on a seam that is spot welded down the length of the magazine. I filed this seam thinner on the inside and now the pistol feeds fine. Maybe some roundsother than umc have longer bullets so the brass does not touch the seam.
