I have 2 HK's; a .45 Tac that is my baby and a .40c that is my carry.  Here lately I have found that I don't care to shoot the .40 much.  I don't know what it is, I just don't care too.  I am thinking about either tradeing it for a HK compact .45 or a 1911.

One thing I notice, is the Tac is nicer to shoot, with the recoil seeming easier and less "punchy", is the compact .45 or the 1911 going to be much different with them being smaller and lighter?  Or should I just "man up" and keep the compact .40?  What do you guys think?

I've never been a big fan of the 40 even though I have a glock 23 .
I like the 45 or the 9mm.
My carry is a P7M8

can you tell a difference in the .40 and .45 in similar size guns?

Yea
the sharp recoil of the 40 compared to the push of the 45 .
I also had a HK compact 40 that I got rid of.
The only reason I still have the Glock is it was a gift
