Has anyone else had any 1911 work done by Don Williams at the Action Works in Phoenix? I was recommended to him by a friend, and had him do a few things to my lw commander, and I am very pleased. Good turnaround time, good prices. -Haven't seen anyone else with a gun done from there.

Top notch guy and top notch work. He's one of those under the radar guys. He's been featured in plenty of gun publications, but he has not become the household name he deserves to be, which means you get your gun done in a reasonable amount of time.

Don has done 4 custom jobs for me. I recommend him. His work is very good, reasonably priced and done relatively quickly. He is not tempermental and is very easy to work with.

He's been there at least for the last 5 years, which is how long I've been aware of him. Where was he before?

Yes.

Don Williams worked on a stubborn pistol of mine that now runs trouble free. It was a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend him.

Cheers
