Go with a 608 with the 8 3\8 barrel and ported. It's a 8 shot in SS or blue. It's a little big

Pretty good guns, and they have great customer service.

Better guns than they used to be but you WILL take a beating on resale value. Any company that pimps out their guns like Taurus does with the gold-colored shit gets no votes from this redneck.

Maybe you'd like them better if they found a way to put mullets on their guns. (J/K)

I've wanted a taurus 608 for years but haven't had the money to spend on it.

I bought a 627, stainless with a 6" barrel off a friend. He'd put at least 750 rounds through it and I've shot another 250. No problems so far. Has a crisp trigger in both SA and DA. The funky grips and ported barrel do a good job at softening the blast from the .357's. Only negative I can think of is I like the looks of the 4" barrel better.

nothing wrong with their revolvers. Great customer service, life time warranty work no matter hw many owners it has had. hard to beat them for the money. JMO
