and can you tell me were to stock up on mag and whats is a good holster for it?

The Sig 220 is a great handgun!! If you like shooting .45 and like the feel of a Sig, this is the gun for you. While I can shoot a 1911 with greater accuracy, I find the Sig to be easy to master. There is the plus that it is a double-action so a round can be carried in the chamber with greater safety. The only bad points it has is the price, but the better 1911's out there are even more expensive. I can't help you on the mags, but my favorite holster is made by Fobus. I am sure they carry one fore the Sig 220.

The Sig P220 is one of the most accurate, out of the box, no fault 45s on the market. Will handle +p ammo without a problem, user friendly controls, easy to conceal for a lg frame handgun and customer service is second to none. You can still find nib 220s for $500 or less with a little shopping around. A recent test had the 220 going 10000 rounds with no loss of accuracy (1.25 I believe) and only three failures due to faulty ammo. You will not be disappointed in this choice. I love my Sigs and I am a 1911 guy also. Then for a compact model check out the P245 this one is a winner also
Edited to add, the best place Ive seen for mags is CDNN, they have "demo" mags which are as next to new as you can get and good prices on their nib mags. Look for factory mags or MacGar (sp?) mags as MacGar (sp?) are the mfg of the factory Sig mags |

Out of all my handguns, if I could only have 1, it would hands down be my P220.

I had a SIG P220 and loved it! It was much more accurate then the Glock 21 I was shooting as well. That Glock would choke on Cor Bon 165gr +P loads, the SIG never jammed once - no matter what I put through it.
I sold my P220 about a year ago - big mistake! I know I will buy another one someday. Tyler |

good, I don't own one but best friend does and I've shot it a lot, if I could not own a USP tactical , I'd own this for sure.(but it is a matter of choice they are both great guns) By the way I saw one for sale on eric's site for a nice price (www.ammoman.com)

They are great guns. Personally I prefer the HK USPf 45. I have a tactical that I love. If I had to choose another 45, it would be a 220!

I have the 245 which is based on the 220 but chopped a bit and it is a great gun. BUY BUY BUY.
