I thought I had heard somewhere that the P6's that have been coming in were somewhere along the way factory refurbished.  Is there any truth in that?  I guess one of the reasons I was wondering was because the trigger is so...well...military-like.  I was wondering if there was any hope of it smoothing out at all.  I have put less than 500 rounds through it so far.

I haven't heard anything about the P6's being refinished, but that doesn't mean that it didn't happen. You can get a new mainspring from one of many different suppliers that should help with your trigger from what I understand.

Refinished or refurbished?

I believe the Military Gun Supply was offering P6 pistols that had the slides refinished (re-blued).  Maybe that is what you are thinking of?  I have not seen anyone selling P6 pistols that have been factory refurbished.  A good SIG gunsmith can do a trigger job on your P6 to smooth out and lighten the trigger pull.

Mine sure didn't come refurbished . . .

This is the holster wear I got:

I applied some cold blue and it looked better. Subsequent to this photo, I've since applied another coat and it looks pretty darn good:

Just ordered two....I love the holster wear.  Looks like a real combat weapon, not a safe queen!

One for each safety deposit box...look at me!  I'm Jason Bourne!
