Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - possible problem with my cia

just got a cia for carry and when i got home i put some snap caps in to do some dry fire, and came to realize it wont fire when aimed at like a 35 degree angle or less pointed down, is this supposed to happen or is there a problem with the taurus safety system

took the cover off today to see what was going on, the plate that sits between the hammer and the firing pin is getting caught on the firing pin and not allowing the gun to fire when aimed down, plz before i look into this further with taurus can someone let me know if theres will fire aimed downwards
