i have a p22 2 slides 5" and 3.5" bbls i shoot the p22 suppressed..well now all of a sudden i was shoting one and then it failed to fire..manually racked slice 5 times then looked at the firing pin...it isnot broke but seems like the spring is shot so i put the other slide on..2 mags and the same damn thing!  well anyone know what causes this?..crap springs or just bad luck? can i get replacement springs from the hardware store or some crap wthout ordering?...i am seriously thinking about selling this damn thing!..im with a offer

I do believe the springs are crap. At rest the firing pin must be sticking out past flush at the back of the slide.

All it took to shut mine down was one time when the slide was off, I poked a paper clip or something against the firing pin so I could see it protrude from the slide face, That was enough to compress the spring and damage it.  Took apart stretched spring and no more problems.
